Frequently Asked Questions

🐾 About the Breed

Are Great Danes good family dogs?
Yes, especially ours. All of our puppies are raised inside our home with our multigenerational family. They’re child-tested, family-proof, and used to love and noise.

How big do Great Danes get?
Males can reach 140–175 lbs; females 110–140 lbs. They usually stand 28–34 inches tall at the shoulder.

Are Great Danes aggressive?
Not naturally. They’re gentle giants when raised with structure, love, and early training.

Do Great Danes need a lot of exercise?
Nope. They're giant couch potatoes. You’ll want to walk them—not clean up 5 pounds of dog crap in your living room. A quick walk and playtime is enough.

Are Great Danes good with other pets?
Yes. With proper introductions, Danes do great with other dogs and even cats.

Do Great Danes bark a lot?
They’re not yappy, but they will bark to alert you. They make great watchdogs.

Are Great Danes good for first-time dog owners?
Yes, if you’re ready for the size and willing to provide leadership. They’re loyal and trainable.

What is the life expectancy of a Great Dane?
7–10 years on average, though some live longer with good genetics and care.

Do Great Danes drool a lot?
We raise American Great Danes—less drool, less mess. European Danes with blockier heads are the heavy droolers.

Are Great Danes lazy?
Yes, and that’s part of their charm. They're loyal shadows who are happy to lounge around with you all day.

🏡 About Our Program

Are your Great Danes AKC registered?
Yes, all our Danes are registered with the AKC and bred to meet breed standards.

Do you offer full or limited registration?
We only offer limited AKC registration to protect the integrity of our bloodlines. These puppies are sold as pets, not breeders.

What breeder awards have you received?
We’ve been honored as an AKC Breeder of Merit and were named UKC Breeder of the Year in 2022.

Where are your puppies raised?
Right in our family home in Las Vegas—not in kennels. They’re raised with kids, love, and constant interaction.

Can I visit your home before adopting?
Yes, visits are by appointment only. We love for future families to meet us and see how our dogs live.

Do you ship or deliver puppies?
Pickup is preferred, but delivery may be arranged by flight nanny or ground transport depending on location and timing.

Do I need to place a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to hold your puppy.

Can I choose my own puppy?
Yes, in the order of deposits. We also help match puppies based on your family and experience.

What’s included with the puppy?
Health record, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, starter food, AKC limited papers, and lifetime breeder support.

What happens if I can’t keep my dog?
We require a signed contract that says the dog comes back to us—no exceptions. Our dogs never end up in shelters or rescues.
